FREE Money Skills Program! Increase your money management skills. Topics include budgeting, banking, credit and consumerism. Offered by the SC Credit Union. 4 weekly sessions from 6:30-
8:30pm October 2, 9, 16 and 23 at the Community School.

Join us for some Drop In Sports! MONDAY nights are Drop In Hockey from 7pm - 9pm. TUESDAY nights are Drop In Soccer from 7:30pm - 9:30pm all at the High School gym!

Crafting for Kidz : Mondays 3-4:30, Sep 16-Nov 24 at MPES, 8 sessions, $75
Join the art class! This term we will again make crafts and prepare to have a table at the Serendipity Christmas Craft Fair. We will be producing different crafts as well as learning how to prepare for a craft fair!  For Grades 3-6.  Patti Soos is the instructor.

Nobody's Perfect Program - The Community School is welcoming parents to this free 10-week peer parenting program that aims to improve parents understanding, ability and confidence in caring for their children. Meet once a week beginning Tuesday Sept 24, from 3:30-5:30pm at the library in the Elementary School - snacks and child-minding are available. WHAT’S Pickleball? Come out to the tennis courts at the high school on Saturday Sep 21 and find out! Drop by between 9:30-11am and check out this fastest growing sport on the Coast!  Karen Renfrew, Coordinator of Sunshine Coast Pickleball group, will be on hand to show us how it’s done and to answer your question. Think:  tennis + ping pong = fun, fast paced sport for all. Stu Dornbierer is leading this new initiative J

We will also be offering drop in sports (like Soccer, Volleyball, Hockey) and will let you know as soon as dates and times are confirmed.  Other courses we’re working on include Red Cross for Babysitters, iPad/iPhone workshop, Memoir Writing, and more.

Welcome Patti

After a very successful Summer Camp in July and a couple of weeks of summer holidays, the Community School is back!!!

We are so pleased to welcome Patti Soos as our new Program Support/Reception person! For those of you who already know her, you know how lucky we are - and for those who don't, please drop by and say hi. 

The Community School office (located in the modular on the grounds of Madeira Park Elementary School field) is open Tue/Wed/Fri, 9am-4pm or call us at 604.883.2826.

Monday to Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm    Ages 5-12 years

Fee: $180 for 2 week camp
$18/drop-in available if minimum of 6 participants commit to full program

We need a minimum of 6 participants in order to be able to run the camp!!
